【講演ご報告】

日本CHRO協会様主催セミナーにて、弊社代表 Eric Wei が登壇させていただきました。


テーマは「AI時代に求められるグローバルリーダーとは？」。


Amazon、Google、DiDiモビリティジャパン、foodpandaと、数々のグローバル企業で要職を担ってきた代表が語ったのは、「真のリーダー」とは、体験したことのない現場に飛び込み、新しいことに挑戦できる人財であるということ。


「失敗を恐れないこと。ただし、同じ失敗を繰り返してはいけない。未知の領域での挑戦による失敗は、むしろ歓迎される」

そんな言葉に、キャリアを築くうえで大切な“マインドセット”を感じました。

代表が大切にしているのは、「8割は未知のこと、2割は既知のこと」に取り組むという姿勢。

それは、起業のために必要な“パーツ”を集めるように、あえてさまざまな分野に飛び込み、学び、挑戦してきたからこそたどり着いた今の姿です。


Dimesは、彼のキャリアの集大成。


そして私は、その挑戦の船に共に乗っていることを、誇りに思います。

その航海は、決して順風満帆な時ばかりではありません。

それでも、未知の世界へ舵を切るその毎日は、私の人生にとってかけがえのない挑戦であり、成長の連続です。


いつか人生を振り返ったとき、この時間こそが「濃く、チャレンジングな日々だった」と思えるに違いありません。


改めて、日本CHRO協会様、そしてご参加いただいた皆さま、貴重な機会を本当にありがとうございました。


"A Man Who Keeps Challenging Himself" — Eric Wei on What It Means to Be a Global Leader

Our CEO, Eric Wei, was honored to speak at a recent seminar hosted by the Japan CHRO Association.


The theme: What kind of leaders are needed in the age of AI?

With a career that spans Amazon, Google, DiDi Mobility Japan, and foodpanda, Eric shared his core belief:


True leaders are those who step into unfamiliar territory and take on new challenges without hesitation.

"Don't be afraid of failure. But never repeat the same mistake. Failures from trying something new in uncharted areas—those are not only accepted but welcomed."


He also emphasized a personal principle: 80% of what you do should be unknown, 20% familiar.

This mindset has driven him to collect “parts” through diverse experiences—each challenge a piece of the puzzle that led to founding Dimes.


Dimes is the culmination of his career.

And I feel truly proud to be on this ship of challenge with him.

Of course, the journey is far from smooth sailing.


But each day we chart a course into the unknown, I know I’m living some of the most intense, meaningful, and fulfilling moments of my life.


One day, when I look back, I’ll surely say: “That was a deeply rewarding chapter of my life.”
