Over the past several years, Dimes and timelyhero have explored and co-created across multiple domains — AI Assist, Learning, and Skill Market. Through these efforts, we have gained countless insights and formed many meaningful connections.

As we look toward creating long-term and sustainable value, we have decided that timelyhero will shift its strategic focus toward AI Assist as its central area of activity.

This is a forward-looking decision that reflects what we have learned so far and where we believe we can make the most meaningful contribution today. Just like the design thinking approach we have valued at Dimes, this shift is part of an ongoing cycle of learning and shaping our next steps.

At the same time, I will be starting a new chapter by leading a new venture in the AI robotics field. The cross-border mindset and co-creation philosophy we cultivated through timelyhero will continue to influence and support the work ahead in this new challenge.

We are sharing this update to keep our community informed about our current direction and future vision. We will continue to communicate openly and work closely with our partners and stakeholders as we move forward.

In late-December, we will also host a panel discussion titled

“Beyond AI for Leaders — How Do We Build Human-Centered Transformation?” (working title).

This event will explore the potential of co-creation and cross-boundary collaboration in the age of AI, and we hope it will be an opportunity to think about the future together with all of you.

What remains unchanged for both Dimes and timelyhero is our core belief:

to share knowledge and experience, and to help create a future where everyone can grow.

Thank you for your continued support.

Eric Wei

CEO, Dimes / Founder, timelyhero

Q1. What will happen to timelyhero.com?

A. To preserve the knowledge and connections built so far, the site will remain accessible for the time being. Its future role will be updated in phases, in alignment with our continued work in the AI Assist domain.

Q2. What will happen to timelyhero’s three pillars (Assist / Learning / Skill Market)?

A. Dimes will move forward with a primary focus on AI Assist. Insights and relationships gained through Learning (a.k.a PINKTUM courses) and Skill Market will continue to inform future service development and co-creation activities.

Q3. Will this shift affect existing collaborations or commitments?

A. Current projects and commitments will continue to be handled responsibly.

We will reach out individually as needed to ensure smooth communication.

Q4. How does Eric Wei’s new work in robotics relate to Dimes?

A. Eric Wei will be dedicating his focus to a new venture as the CEO of a startup called Movies Inc. (headquartered in Kanazawa, Ishikawa). Movies’ mission is to “make mobility accessible for everyone and create a society free from transportation disparities,” with a vision to realize fully autonomous robot taxis.

Meanwhile, Dimes will continue its essential activities, building on the relationships and projects we have developed so far, while shifting its core focus toward the AI Assist domain. Although the roles will evolve, the experience and networks built to date will remain valuable assets that benefit both sides going forward.

Q5. What is the significance of the “Beyond AI for Leaders” panel discussion?

A. This event symbolizes the strategic shift toward AI Assist, and also marks an important milestone for Eric as he connects past learnings to the next challenge. It is designed as a forum where insights from our previous activities, Dimes’s new direction, and my future vision intersect — exploring how to build human-centered transformation in the age of AI. We see this panel as an opportunity to solidify our next step and expand the value of co-creation and cross-boundary collaboration. This event is planned for December 23 at Tokyo Innovation Hub (TIB). Details will be shared through timelyhero website and LinkedIn.
